Like every Christian community, our overall program is to encourage
our members and friends to grow in the life of Christ and to bring
that life to the community. In support of this general goal, we
maintain an active liturgical life and provide many educational,
sacramental and social opportunities for both young people and
adults.
About
Us describes some of our regular activities. Check out the faith
education programs for young children, children in public
schools, and adult faith/learning groups. We also have sacramental
preparation programs for children and adults. Annual events
include a volunteer fair in the fall, a children's pageant on
Christmas Eve, anointing of the sick in the spring, and a parish
meeting in the spring. Times and details are listed under news
as the events get closer.
Annual social events
including a fall Bar-B-Q/Walk-a-thon and a pancake breakfast in March. The
Catholic Women's League and other organizations
also host events that are available to everyone.
In addition to ongoing programs and
organizations that make the parish alive, we have a few special
initiatives. New initiatives for young people will be
announced on the youth page
Another venture is this parish Web Site.
It is always under construction and will be growing and changing for a
while. Any suggestions for its improvement would be appreciated.
